TAS-Union Station Volunteers Reach 100K Travelers

(Hollywood)--Last year, nearly 100,000 travelers were met by the Volunteers of Travelers Aid Society of Los Angeles at Union Station Terminal, in Downtown Los Angeles. To be exact, 95,185 travelers requested train information and local transportation assistance. They had questions about lodging, about interpreter assistance, about helping friends and family meet their parties, and about general information concerning the City of Los Angeles. The biggest month was August, when we provided assistance to 9,590 rail passengers.
